Hospice Hospital – Comforting The Terminally Ill Patients

Providing Comfort at The End of Life

INSPIRATION HOSPICE IS THE BEST HOSPICE HOSPITAL OFFERING HOSPICE CARE TO PATIENTS WHEN THEY NEED IT THE MOST

If you or your loved ones are suffering from life-limiting disease, hospice care may be an option. Hospice care is specifically for patients who have exhausted all treatment options or no longer want to get treated.

A team of hospice health professionals aim at maximizing a patient’s comfort that is terminally ill by addressing physical, social, psychological, and spiritual needs.

A hospice care team generally includes:

  • Doctors
  • Nurses
  • Home health aides
  • Spiritual counselors
  • Social workers
  • Volunteers

Hospice care is for patients who have less than 6 months to live. While some people receive hospice hospital care for cancer, others choose hospice to live as comfortably and as independently as possible during the last days of their lives.

While most hospice care is provided at home, it can also be opted for at a nursing home, hospital, dedicated hospice facilities and assisted living facilities. For more information about hospice care in hospital, get in touch with Inspiration Hospice professionals.

Yes, hospice care is covered by Medicare and Medicaid. Most of the private health insurances also pay for hospice care services. While each program has its own policy, you should talk to the hospital before opting for a hospice hospital near me.

This is Why We Do What We Do

I need to update my review based on a very recent, very personal experience with Inspiration. My father in law was diagnosed with leukemia 6 weeks ago. They started by sending out an AMG provider Jenn Griswold and putting him on home health. They were so helpful. The entire team was great. Then, last week he took a turn for the worse and we made the decision to transition to hospice. Every single person from the patient liasons, Director of Nursing, nurses, music therapist, social worker, were life savers. Wendy, Jayme, Mike, Carrie, April, Julie, Keric, Jenn, thank you. Words can’t simply express how much your support has meant to our family. Bob’s death was truly beautiful because of all of you. We felt at peace, he was comfortable, and died surrounded by love, family, and the beautiful music of the harp. I can’t imagine what we would have done without all of you. ❤️

Inspiration Hospice took such great care of my dad during the last few days of his life, that I knew when it was time for Mother, I would of course use them again. In hindsight, I wish I had not waited so long. The caring help they provided her was heaven sent. From the nurses, to the social worker, the chaplain and the aides, we felt supported and even more importantly, my mother was comforted. When a nurse will sit and talk with you for three hours, holding your hand or rubbing lotion on your feet, that is genuine caring. Once she started into the active dying process, they were only a call away. Several kind people came to make sure the facility knew what to do to follow through and keep her comfortable. She had the most peaceful passing. I will forever be grateful to Inspiration!

I can not even begin to express how appreciative my family is for the care Inspiration gave my loved one!! We didn’t want to go hospice but I discovered we should’ve done this earlier. That is my biggest regret!
The volunteers and staff are so loving and caring and supported us the whole way. Thank you Thank you
