Hospice Nursing Home

Caring For The Patient At The End Of Their Lives

INSPIRATION HOSPICE OFFERING BEST HOSPICE NURSING CARE TO PATIENTS WHEN THEY NEED IT THE MOST

Patients who have less than 6 months to live owing to a medical illness often choose hospice care in nursing home. When a patient is eligible for Medicare, the hospice nursing services are paid for by Medicare.

Visiting nurse and hospice care help a terminally ill patient to die in a dignified manner in his home. One of the main goals of hospice care is to help the patient live as independently and as comfortable as possible.

Patients who choose hospice care in nursing home receive:

  • Consultation by a specialized hospice physician
  • Expert pain management services
  • Regular check up by registered hospice nurse

Hospice nurses are health care professionals who care for terminally ill patients who are at the end of their lives. A hospice nurse is a vital member of the hospice care team and is responsible to perform a variety of different roles.

Hospice nursing professionals work directly with the patient and his family. A hospice nurse provides emotional support, explain the medical situation to the family member, and reassure the patient that he has made the right decisions.

This is Why We Do What We Do

I need to update my review based on a very recent, very personal experience with Inspiration. My father in law was diagnosed with leukemia 6 weeks ago. They started by sending out an AMG provider Jenn Griswold and putting him on home health. They were so helpful. The entire team was great. Then, last week he took a turn for the worse and we made the decision to transition to hospice. Every single person from the patient liasons, Director of Nursing, nurses, music therapist, social worker, were life savers. Wendy, Jayme, Mike, Carrie, April, Julie, Keric, Jenn, thank you. Words can’t simply express how much your support has meant to our family. Bob’s death was truly beautiful because of all of you. We felt at peace, he was comfortable, and died surrounded by love, family, and the beautiful music of the harp. I can’t imagine what we would have done without all of you. ❤️

Inspiration Hospice took such great care of my dad during the last few days of his life, that I knew when it was time for Mother, I would of course use them again. In hindsight, I wish I had not waited so long. The caring help they provided her was heaven sent. From the nurses, to the social worker, the chaplain and the aides, we felt supported and even more importantly, my mother was comforted. When a nurse will sit and talk with you for three hours, holding your hand or rubbing lotion on your feet, that is genuine caring. Once she started into the active dying process, they were only a call away. Several kind people came to make sure the facility knew what to do to follow through and keep her comfortable. She had the most peaceful passing. I will forever be grateful to Inspiration!

I can not even begin to express how appreciative my family is for the care Inspiration gave my loved one!! We didn’t want to go hospice but I discovered we should’ve done this earlier. That is my biggest regret!
The volunteers and staff are so loving and caring and supported us the whole way. Thank you Thank you
